HS1 Ltd (HS1) is looking to replace the 10x life-expired and outdated large digital customer information screens (CIS) located above the retail concessions within the Sourced Market area at St Pancras International station. HS1 elected to take a more holistic approach, to review the role the existing screens play within the overall Wayfinding & Communications strategy for St Pancras, and based on passenger needs, determine what combination of solutions could be considered in lieu of a direct ‘like for like’ replacement. This expression of interest relates specifically to Phase 3 of the programme – Construction Design & Build. Programme Status Phase 1: Option Development (Phase complete) – in this phase, two reports detailing the options design for updating the CIS and PIPs at St. Pancras International were produced. A preferred option was selected and briefed to all internal and external stakeholders. Phase 2: Developed Design (Phase complete) – this phase was conducted with a view to the further design development of the CIS & Wayfinding option selected in Phase 1. This phase involved engaging with key stakeholders including Heritage, Train Operating Companies (TOCs), Department for Transport (DfT) and specialist screen equipment suppliers. The output from this phase produced the final developed design, which will be used by the supplier to form the foundation of the CIS renewal during the Construction Design & Build phase of the programme.
