Short description
The proposed contract period is for single service provider for an initial 3-year period with an option of two one-year extensions, for auction services including
• collecting property such as, electrical items. bicycles, cameras, toys, leather goods, coins / currency, jewelry, memorabilia, etc. from Merseyside Police Premises or 3rd party site;
• advertising / promoting of auctions it and then the management of the auctions directly or via specialist auctioneers to achieve the best financial return possible from the sale of the property;
• maximizing the transparency and management information (MI) available to show a live and complete audit trail of the items, including concise MI reports, audit trails that clearly evidences removal of property from Police Premises, provision when requested of a realistic reserve price before auction, date and time of sale and actual price realised;
• work with Merseyside Police staff to ensure the integrity of the Force is upheld.

Description of the procurement
The proposed contract period is for single service provider for an initial 3-year period with an option of two one-year extensions, if all parties are agreeable. The Contract will commence on 01st February 2021 and is to be awarded on a single supplier basis using a call off procedure. The contract is for a service provision to Merseyside Police only and will not be open to other Police Forces.
The proposed contract and service provision:
• collecting property such as, electrical items. bicycles, cameras, toys, leather goods, coins / currency, jewelry, memorabilia, etc. from Merseyside Police Premises or 3rd party site;
• advertising / promoting of auctions it and then the management of the auctions directly or via specialist auctioneers to achieve the best financial return possible from the sale of the property;
• maximizing the transparency and management information (MI) available to show a live and complete audit trail of the items, including concise MI reports, audit trails that clearly evidences removal of property from Police Premises, provision when requested of a realistic reserve price before auction, date and time of sale and actual price realised;
