Description of the procurement

HS England and NHS Improvement - Midlands (the Commissioner) is inviting providers to express interest in delivering an Out of Hours Urgent Dental Care Service for the West Midlands, to be based in Birmingham.
As a result of this procurement exercise a contract will be established with the successful Bidder for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 1 year. The successful provider is expected to be fully operational and providing services from 1st April 2022.
The Service is required to be open at weekends (both Saturday and Sunday) and Bank Holidays between 9am and 2pm with a minimum of five hours per day (and with a decontamination process to follow clinical face to face hours). The total indicative number of sessions each year is 112, with estimated patient contact numbers between 2500 and 3000. The estimated annual contract value is approximately £150,000.
