Short description

The Cumbria Office of Police & Crime Commissioner is intending to undertake a market engagement event and procurement exercise. The overall aim is to commission an early intervention service that will provide a holistic and trauma informed approach to ensure children are not unnecessarily criminalised by taking every opportunity to divert them away from offending and to prevent the involvement of statutory services. The service will work in conjunction with Cumbria Constabulary’s Child Centred Policing Teams located in the North, West and South of Cumbria, and will focus on delivery around a Youth Coach model.

Description of the procurement

The Commissioner is conducting a Market Engagement exercise on the 9th & 10th November 2021 to inform the development of the future service delivery for the provision of Cumbria Youth Coaches.
The Commissioner is seeking to gain market insight from providers with a track record of proven knowledge and experience in delivering early intervention Services. To aid development of the specification, to assess the level of interest in a potential tender opportunity, seek to further understand market capability in terms of contracting and delivery options.
Interested individuals/organisations will need to register their interest on the EU-Supply portal (see I.3 Communication section above in this document for URL). To access the background information, draft specification, and to return the Market Engagement responses by the cut-off date of 4th November 2021 at 12:00hrs. The Commissioner is intending to host Market Engagement sessions on 9th & 10th November 2021 via MS Teams, as one to one sessions lasting up to an hour with each individual or organisation that have registered their interest & returned Market Engagement response. These sessions will be organised & confirmed directly after the cut-off date.
It is important to note that this PIN is not a call for competition and as such potential providers will need to express an interest in any future tender opportunity once a contract notice is published in Find a Tender (FTS) and on Contracts Finder.
