Lot 1 – To deliver Kennelling of Seized Dogs services in East Kent
Overview of services to be provided
•The collection, transportation and kennelling of seized/dangerous dogs.
•The collection of seized/dangerous dogs seized by police under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (or other legislation) from a police station or designated pick-up point within the counties.
•The kennelling of seized/dangerous dogs.
•The provision of adequate and secure shelter, food and healthcare for animals placed in the custody of the kennel.
•A `24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year` service provision must be provided for with collection within 2hours and 30 minutes of original request.
The Authority does not guarantee to place any dogs with the selected Contractor(s) as a result of this contract.
