Description of the procurement

United Utilities is currently reviewing their strategy for the Repair and Maintenance of Valves. The scope will include the repair and maintenance of the following types of values:
• Pressure Vacuum Relief Valves
• Check Valves / Non Return Valves
• Penstocks / Gate Valves / Sluice Valves
• Valve Actuators
By undertaking pre market research, the Company can then evaluate the current market capability and identify whether there is a potential to put in place a single supplier arrangement, or whether it is commercially viable to put in place a multi supplier arrangement.
