Short description
The London Borough of Camden (The Council) is seeking to award a contract for the provision of recladding works to the Blashford Tower block, together with associated works to the envelope of the building including full window replacement, renewal of flat roof, installation of a building maintenance unit, cladding the stair core to the building and replacement of brickwork to the underground level, including vents and louvers. Blashford Tower is part of the Chalcots Estate, which was completed at the end of the 1960s and renovated during 2007 – 2009, including a recladding that concealed the original in-situ concrete façade walls. The project will comprise of the replacement of the previous cladding system, which has been removed, the curtain walling, associated remedial work and making good, and window replacement throughout. The total façade area is approximately 4000m2.
PCSA Duration: 32 weeks + 5 days
Construction Duration: 70 - 80 weeks (to be agreed)
