A new Research Facility is currently being built for the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) at the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham.
The new facility sits in 1.417 acres of land which comprises access, parking, landscaping, services and other infrastructure. The Research Facility is a single building of circa 2,069.5 sqm. Building layout plans are supplied in the tendering documents.
Summary of Work
UKAEA is looking for a range of Facilities Management services to support this new facility covering: Maintenance services, Cleaning services, Waste, recycling, Grounds maintenance, pest control and Security services.
UKAEA will operate its own Helpdesk service with which the supplier will interact

Additional debriefing and that information have to be provided within a minimum of 3 working days before the expiry of the standstill period. If an appeal regarding the award of a contract has not been successfully resolved, the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015 No. 102) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
Any such action must be brought promptly.
