Short description
The contract will cover, but is not limited to:
• General office/building cleaning/Custody Suites/Control Rooms
• Entrance and smoking areas cleaning including the emptying of ash/litter bins
• Litter picking and sweeping of exercise yards
• The provision of all equipment and cleaning materials
• Extra and Ad Hoc Cleaning
Contractors will be required to operate a verification system of site attendance and/or work activity in a form agreed by the Contract Manager. The contractor is to carry out the cleaning of the buildings shown in the Schedule of Sites and shall be responsible for the provision of all plant, labour, equipment, cleaning materials and cleaning consumables necessary for the proper execution of the work.

Description of the procurement
Cleaning services for Nottinghamshire Police. This contract is offered as a 3 year +1 + 1.
The contracting authorities wish to establish a single provider contract for the provisions of cleaning services for cleaning of police premises including custody suites and control rooms.
The contractor shall be responsible for the cleaning of but not limited to:
• General office accommodation and public areas
• Toilets, shower rooms, drying rooms, locker rooms
• Kitchens, dining rooms, rest rooms, tea stations, kitchen fixtures and fittings
• White goods including microwaves, fridges and ovens: internally and externally
• Custody suites all areas, including cells and medical rooms
• Witness interview suites and medical rooms
• Meeting rooms, gymnasiums, sports hall
• Call handling centres and control rooms
• Occupational Health Department including office space and examination room
• SARC office areas and corridors but excluding medical rooms and examination rooms
