This notice is published for the purpose of early market engagement only.
As part of the Healthier Together Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP), Health and Social Care partner organisations within Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) are seeking to engage with suppliers for a single consistent and standardised Learning Management System as our main tool for developing and managing learning content and staff training booking and availability; tracking and reporting training compliance and easily and efficiently managing an automated process for the transfer of staff training records between BNSSG partner organisations. This Learning Management system would also need to effectively interface with staff appraisal and HR systems.

Description of the procurement

The Healthier Together Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) wish to undertake a market engagement exercise to inform the procurement strategy for a consistent and standardised Learning Management System across BNSSG, which is planned to be undertaken during early 2021.
The Healthier Together Learning Academy is a collaborative space to facilitate system-wide conversation and deliver integrated learning & development for the (BNSSG) health and social care workforce in order to provide consistent and standardised training at scale,improving quality and reducing overheads as well as reducing the cost of staff moving between employers.
It is focused on targeted priorities to deliver maximum system-wide impact and benefit for the present and future workforce; and one of these key priorities is for system partners to collaborate and secure the procurement of a consistent and standardised Learning Management System across BNSSG to bring considerable impact for sharing training resources and transferring training records between organisations.
Current participating partner organisations are University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust, North Bristol NHS Trust, Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, Sirona Care and Health CIC, BNSSG Primary Care, BNSSG Social Care, the BNSSG Clinical Commissioning Group and St Monica Trust.
