Short description

South Yorkshire Police require a venue to deliver this training from April 2021.
The majority of the courses will be delivered indoors in a classroom environment however some outdoor space may be required. The venue must also have suitable outside space available which is away from the general public. The venue must also provide free onsite parking.
Courses are booked up to twelve months in advance but can be cancelled at short notice, however, numbers are typically confirmed one month in advance. Accommodation refreshments and lunch must also be provided by the venue.
There are several courses lasting a duration of three weeks four times per year.
The venue must be within a 10mile radius of postcode S66 8LB.
The classrooms must be suitable for up to 12 delegates and 3-4 trainers/staff.
South Yorkshire Police are assessing the market interest to inform their procurement strategy.

Description of the procurement

South Yorkshire Police require a venue to deliver this training from April 2021. The training will take place between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday and the courses vary in length.
The majority of the courses will be delivered indoors in a classroom environment however some outdoor space may be required for demonstration/ role play purposes, ‘live’ ammunition will not be used for this. Therefore, the venue must also have suitable outside space available which is away from the general public so as not to cause disturbance (this will be for occasions when there is no availability at The Lifewise Centre). The venue must also provide free onsite parking.
Courses are booked up to twelve months in advance but can be cancelled at short notice, however, numbers are typically confirmed one month in advance. Accommodation facilities will be required as these courses attract officers from all over the UK who could require accommodation; refreshments and lunch must also be provided by the venue.
There are several courses lasting a duration of three weeks four times per year with a maximum of twelve delegates per course.

There must also be a provision to seat up to 17 in comfort classroom style formation with tables, projector, smartboard, audio equipment, appropriate lighting and air conditioning /climate control. Rooms will need to be private and sound proofed to reduce noise level/ disturbance to other guests at the venue.
