Other additional information

The procurement exercise is being conducted by London Fire Commissioner (LFC) also know as the London Fire Brigade (LFB), (a functional body (FB) of the Greater London Authority (GLA)) under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 on behalf of itself. The resulting contract will be open for use by the GLA and other members of the GLA FBs, namely the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), the London Ambulance Service (LAS), Transport for London (TfL), the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), and Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation.
In the United Kingdom there are 53 regional fire and rescue services, as detailed on the National Fire Chiefs Council website - https://www.nationalfirechiefs.org.uk/Fire-and-Rescue-Services. The Commissioner is conducting this procurement exercise with the intention that the resulting contract will be open for use by all fire and rescue services.
The contract value set out in the original notice is the anticipated spend by LFC only. It is anticipated that the maximum spend could increase up to £27,600,000 over the contract term if all of the organisations listed above were to utilise this contract. LFC do not have any confirmed interest from the organisations listed and no guarantee can be made as to the total value of the contract.
