Description of the procurement
NHS Birmingham & Solihull CCG wishes to procure a Mental Health Recovery & Employment Service (MHRE). The Contract will commence on the 01st April 2021 and will be for 3 years with an option to extend for up to a further 2 years at the discretion of the CCG. The contract will be procured in 2 lots. The service will cover Birmingham & Solihull (including West Birmingham).
Lot 1 will be for IPS Employment Support Services and will have a fixed contract value of £4,358,640 (excluding VAT) for the initial 3-year period.
Lot 2 will be for Mental Health Recovery Centres and will have a fixed contract value of £3,815,000 (excluding VAT) for the initial 3-year period. It should be noted that this is the total value for all Recovery Centres).
The service is a Schedule 3 Service and is being procured under the Light Touch Regime (LTR) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The process is a one stage process similar to an Open process.
