II.1.4)
Short description
Jisc is looking to establish a multi-lot framework, which will service the requirements of Jisc that can’t be wholly delivered in-house.
Jisc’s marketing and communications directorate operates a virtual agency model, where creative, brand and production requirements are outsourced to external individuals and/or agencies. There is a requirement for a broad range of disciplines that can support the marketing and communications teams, and other areas within Jisc.
We are looking for agencies who are collaborative, easy and open to work with, and are excellent at managing healthy relationships with other suppliers. We believe that where appropriate, using multiple suppliers on a single project and utilising their individual strengths can bring out a much richer, more interesting and successful output.
Agencies on the proposed framework will need to be able to deliver to production and creative briefs across a wide range of disciplines.

We would expect such an agency to have an integrated model, across brand, creative, graphic design, digital, emerging technologies, web design and copywriting.
Expertise in interior design and 3D design and/or working with fit-out companies or architects would be desirable, although not essential.
We require inspirational and creative and strategic partners, who are prepared to stand up and sell ideas in the face of internal resistance, comfortable with pitching proposals to senior stakeholders.

II.2.4)
Description of the procurement
The agency must be able to design and produce collateral across a broad range of disciplines, for both print and online media. This lot is focused on the delivery of design for a wide range outputs, for both online and offline channels. We require a high quality, professional output with a creative and fresh approach, but which respects and operates within the Jisc brand(s) guidelines. Within this lot, agencies will also be expected to support the business under a self-serve model (see appendix one), working to respond to business-area needs whilst protecting the brand. Agencies must also be able to run both a managed service, using their own print and delivery processes, as well as working with other printers as requested by Jisc. Pre-set outputs– as part of this lot there are a number of outputs which are delivered frequently. These are relatively low-cost items and follow a similar workflow and format each tom. Therefore, we are asking suppliers to offer fixed costs for these items (see appendix one). Within the Jisc brand and production software there will pre-determined workflows for these outputs, where your fixed costs will be added to create instant quotes to the requester.

II.2.4)
Description of the procurement
We are looking for film production agencies who are open minded, innovative and creative when approaching new ideas, strategies and technologies for Jisc films, including the supporting film strategy. We also require any successful agency to be flexible, responsive, and can deliver to strict deadlines. As the films that Jisc require can have a varied messaging, audience and purpose, we require a creative and fresh approach to each individual film, whilst considering its successful dissemination. We require a high quality, professional output for all our films, which is in keeping with the Jisc film brand guidelines. Within this lot, agencies will also be expected to support the business under a self-serve model, working to respond to business-area needs whilst protecting the brand. With in-house creatives, sometimes we will lead on the creative direction, but sometimes we will need help. Therefore, sometimes we will be heavily involved in the ideas, scoping and production stages, and other times we will look to you to lead and advise. In some circumstances, where the successful creative agency in lot one has been part of an overall creative concept, they may also support in the initial stages of a film. As a result, the successful film agency must be collaborative and work harmoniously with other agencies, be good at taking creative direction from leads not in their organisation and be effective at leading the creative in-house. During projects where the successful film agency are not leading creatively, this does not mean that they will be omitted from the creative process, as Jisc value the thoughts and opinions of all involved in the project.
