Short description

The West Mercia Diversionary Network has been commissioned on behalf of the Police and Crime Commissioner for West Mercia only, to reduce: The Risk of Children and Young People (C&YP) being exploited and / or The number of C&YP entering the Criminal Justice System (CJS). The trauma some C&YP experience heightens vulnerability, decreasing health and social outcomes and increase their risk of exploitation and entering the Criminal Justice System. The Diversionary Network will help build resilience in those affected, decreases the risk of victimisation, resulting in a reduction in offending behaviour and ultimately leading to an enriched safer life.
