Short description
The contract is to provide a maintenance service on the Lift Installations within designated buildings around the force. The contract will provide for planned preventative maintenance, reactive (repair) maintenance and improvement/alteration activities.
The range of lifts covered under this Contract consists of the following:
a) Traction goods and passenger lifts.
b) Hydraulic goods and passenger lifts.
c) Service hoists.
d) Disabled platform lifts
e) Stair lifts
f) Conveyors
The Contract also includes shaft lighting, car lighting and emergency lighting.
The current property portfolio within the West Midlands area consists of 31 sites having lift installations as listed in Appendix A.
