The Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey on behalf of themselves and the Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex (thereafter known as 'the Authority') are procuring Digital Forensic Services under a competitive procurement conducted in accordance with the OJEU Open Procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
The Authority is seeking to award a single contract for core services. This service includes:
- preservation, acquisition, analysis and reporting on data and/or grading of images retrieved from various digital media devices
- collecting and returning exhibits
- attending Court as a professional witness
- writing witness statements
- providing exhibit and case reports.

Description of the procurement

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey on behalf of themselves and the Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex (thereafter known as 'the Authority') are procuring Digital Forensic Services under a competitive procurement conducted in accordance with the OJEU Open Procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
The Authority is seeking to award a single contract for core services. This service includes:
- preservation, acquisition, analysis and reporting on data and/or grading of images retrieved from various digital media devices
- collecting and returning exhibits
- attending Court as a professional witness
- writing witness statements
- providing exhibit and case reports.
The term for this contract shall be 2 years with the option to extend by 2 additional 12 month increment(s), making the maximum possible contract term 4 years. The option to extend the contract shall be at the sole discretion of the Authority.
The estimated total value of the contract is £4,800,000, which is based on approximate total annual spend aggregated over 4 years.
