Description:
An administrative heath service supporting the embedding of Lived Experience in the commissioning of Health & Justice clinical services Arden & GEM Commissioning Support Unit (AGSCU) is looking to commission a Lived Experience service to be provided to one of its Clients (NHS England Health & Justice Central Team). The NHS England Health and Justice Central Team (The Client) is committed to integrating what patients think and have to say about the care they receive, in the commissioning of healthcare services across several Health & Justice projects, including; o Liaison and Diversion; o Community Sentence Treatment Requirement; o Courts Healthcare; o Reconnect (A service designed to reintegrate someone as they leave prison back into community health system). o The Non-Custodial Programme Board that oversees the projects AGCSU is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced provider to support the continuation of a Lived Experience input service as the existing service is due to cease at the end of November 2019. The length of this contract will be for a period of 18 months, with an aim to then look forwards towards the development of a much wider and larger national Lived Experience contract.
