a) To provide a clean building for the users of the facilities. b) Provide and manage a customer focused reception and building c) To effectively and efficiently manage room bookings d) To provide efficient and timely Facilities services. e) To respond to the differing room lay out needs of the local Users f) To provide catering and beverage services to the Users of the building. g) To undertake the day to day operations and management of the above services within the building, and it’s curtilage Outline of services The Contractor will provide the services on a Monday to Friday basis. a) Cleaning - Various cleaning services to the agreed specification (see below) and frequency to each room/area on each of the 6 levels in the building (hours) b) Reception Duties - To ensure that the Reception desk is covered between the hours of 08.00 and 17.00 (Monday – Friday). Provide a high quality customer focused reception that welcomes and greets members of staff and external visitors. Manage a room bookings systems inclusive of auditing space utilisation , maximising use of capacity and providing reporting schedules. c) Catering - To provide a food and beverage service for events/functions and building users. Catering and other requirements for these services after 5 pm (Monday to Friday) and at weekends will be booked in advance and charged accordingly. d) Additional Duties - Between the hours of 08.00 and 17.00 Monday to Friday (Bank Holidays excluded) a range of additional duties are required. These include portering, sorting and management of incoming and outgoing mail to the building, signing out/in room keys, setting up training rooms, reporting and monitoring general maintenance issues for the building and other general reception duties. e) External Contracts - Education Management Ltd will have put in place additional service contracts e.g. Pest Control, window cleaning, waste collection and certain washroom services. The Contractor will be required to implement and operate these contracts on behalf of the Centre manager. f) Queries - Deal with the day to day building queries. g) Waste & Recycling - Manage the waste and recycling collection service within the building and ensuring that all waste is removed from site. The Contractor will provide a suitable manager on site on a daily basis who will oversee and manage the Contractor’s staff and ensure the successful delivery of this contract.
