AGCSU on behalf of NHS Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group (referred to as the Commissioner(s) from this point onwards) acting under co-commissioning delegated authority from NHS England (North Midlands), is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver the primary medical services (referred to as the Service(s) from here onwards) at the Whitehall Medical Practice in Shropshire, under the APMS contract.
Contract Duration and Service Commencement
As a result of this procurement exercise an agreement will be established with the successful Bidder(s) for a period of 4 years and 6 months.
The current contract(s) for the Services will end on 30th September 2019 and as a result the successful provider is expected to be fully operational, providing services from 01 October 2019.

Description of the procurement

AGCSU on behalf of NHS Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group (referred to as the Commissioner(s) from this point onwards) acting under co-commissioning delegated authority from NHS England (North Midlands), is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver the primary medical services (referred to as the Service(s) from here onwards) at the Whitehall Medical Practice in Shropshire, under the APMS contract.
Estimated Contract Value
The contract will be based on global sum average 19/20 with a 10% premium. The premium will only be paid if the successful bidder is able to provide the Zero Tolerance Enhanced Service from the premises covering all patients residing within the Shropshire CCG border.
Annual uplifts will be made for the term of the contract in line with GMS Contract negotiations. In addition, separate payments will be made for Quality Outcomes Framework, Enhanced Services and premises.
