Short description
North Bristol NHS Trust provides hospital & community healthcare to the residents of Bristol, South Gloucestershire & North Somerset together with a range of regional services. Our aim is to deliver exceptional healthcare for all patients & carers. Bristol Genetics Laboratory (BGL) inc Cytogenetics & Molecular Genetics disciplines, delivers a range of genetic analysis services to the UK & internationally for a variety of inherited & acquired genetic disorders. BGL is part of the UK National Genetics Network & a partner org. within the West of England NHS Genomic Medicine Centre involved in delivering the 100000 Genome project. As part of an integrated Pathology service the BGL works in close collaboration with colleagues in other Pathology disciplines, incl PHEs South West laboratory service, as well as Clinical Genetics, obstetrics, paediatrics & oncology services. BGL requires high throughput automated capillary electrophoresis instrumentation to provide a Sanger sequencing service

Bristol Genetics Laboratory has a requirement for high throughput automated capillary electrophoresis instrumentation to provide a Sanger sequencing service.
A DNA Sequencer is required for installation accordingly on a supply and install / commissioned basis
