Newport Spectra Physics is currently the only supplier able to offer this highly specialised instrument designed to perform spectral focusing, non-linear optical microscopy.
Synchronised, dual-output, tuneable, femtosecond laser system with integrated spectral focusing unit for generated light sources for Spectral Focusing Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Scattering (SF-CARS) and Stimulated Raman Scattering (SRS) imaging and spectroscopy. This system is required to construct a custom built biomedical imaging facility.

Explanation
The below technical specification required is unique to one system:
- Dual synchronized tunable outputs
- Output power>1W over the tuning range compensates for loses in the complex optical path within microscope-based applications.
- Low Relative intensity noice (RIN) to allow shot noise detection of stimulated Raman scattering.
- The short pulses (120 fs) enable detection schemes such as spectral focusing that require broadband excitation pulses.
- Integrated dispersion compensation that ensures the highest peak powers are delivered for microscope-based imaging applications.
- Integrated spectral focusing unit that applies a linear chirp to the excitation pulse for Spectral Focusing Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Scattering (SF-CARS) and Stimulated Raman Scattering (SF-SRS) imaging and spectroscopy.
