Short description

The South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner (SYPCC) is seeking a single provider to lead the delivery of a Restorative Justice Service in South Yorkshire. The service will ensure that a high quality Restorative Justice Service is consistently available throughout South Yorkshire to all victims of crime.
This service is being jointly commissioned by SYPCC and South Yorkshire Community
-Rehabilitation Company (CRC). SYPCC will be the lead organisation for this procurement.
The South Yorkshire RJ Service will look to:
-Reduce the harm caused to individuals and communities as a result of crime
-Avoid further harm being caused.
-Support victims long term recovery.
-Support offenders to understand the effect of their actions and reduce re-offending.
-Build confidence in the CJS.
