Short description

This ITT is for the provision of a Data Analytics and Associated Support and Maintenance Contract to the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire (PCC) and the Chief Constable of Cheshire (CC).
The continual increasing growth in the use of technology has amplified the amount of data that is available to support criminal investigations. The volume of data available from telecommunications providers, ANPR systems, smart devices and financial sources is so great that it is now recognised nationally that it is not feasible to interpret and overlay the various datasets without using purpose-built data analytics tools. The demand for such tools develops with the increase in the volumes and types data available to be analysed.
A Data Analytics solution was introduced at Cheshire Constabulary as a pilot in 2016. This pilot has been a success, as a result we are now looking to procure a long term Data Analytics Solution.
