Short description

The proposal is to provide a food technology and science classroom at Argyle Primary School. The school is comprised of a larger, four-storey building and a smaller two-storey annexe. The STEM classroom will be situated on the first floor of the annexe building, and will replace the currently unused caretaker’s flat. The ground floor of the annexe will be remodelled to house the school’s reception office. At present, this is located on the ground floor of the main building and is accessed through the playground. The project will also deliver condition improvements identified in a condition survey carried out in 2015. The works will include improvements to electrical distribution boards, wiring, lighting, rainwater goods, paintwork and walls. All of the works relate to the annexe and can be carried out at the same time as the STEM project works.
