Provide all the inspection and maintenance of communication masts and towers across the MOPAC Estate. The Estate covers 32 boroughs within the Greater London area, and a number of other locations on the outskirts. The Supplier Please note there are shared towers within the Estate.
This framework is available for use by the following organisations:
The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime MOPAC/Metropolitan Police Services
London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) (London Fire Brigade)
However, as at the date of this notice the MOPAC are unable to give any accurate indication of the likely demand from the organisations listed for these services.

II.2.4)

Description of the procurement

The inspection and maintenance of communication masts and towers across the MOPAC Estate. The Estate covers 32 boroughs within the Greater London area, and a number of other locations on the outskirts. The Supplier Please note there are shared towers within the Estate.
The Supplier shall but not limited to:
• Provide all materials, consumables and equipment required to provide the service
• Provide condition based advice to the Authority on the communication masts/towers
• Maintain a register of inspection reports and work job sheets in accordance with all legislation and audit as appropriate
• Attend site and complete works in accordance with secure and safe procedures approved by the Authority
• Include for all access requirements and equipment
• Inspect and attach an inspection tag to all Authority assets (ladders etc.) that are used to access the Masts and Towers assets before use, whether fixed to the Mast and Tower asset or mobile.
• Provide an updated Asset register on an annual basis to the Authority in the Asset capture format.
• Ensure that Planned Maintenance including Statutory, Legislative and insurance inspections is carried out in accordance with policy for communication masts & towers across the MOPAC Estate.
• Ensure that the Authority is informed of any Planned Maintenance Remedial Works required following Planned Maintenance tasks
• Ensure that reactive maintenance service is provided
