NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of NHS England wish to conduct a Market Engagement Exercise for commissioning Specialised Haemoglobinopathy Services. The exercise will consist of; the completion of a Soft Market Testing Questionnaire and Market Engagement Event via a WebEx.
This Market Engagement Exercise (MEE) is where the Commissioner (NHS England) wants market input to support the development of its proposals prior to formal procurement opportunity and seeks input from the market.
This exercise is not a consultation on the clinical model which has been subject to a period of engagement.

This market engagement exercise is being facilitated through the Arden & GEM, EU-Supply e-procurement portal at: https://uk.eu-supply.com/app/rfq/rwlentrance_s.asp?PID=25835&B=OGC
Portal project reference: (Tender/Quote) 33100 - PIN – Market Engagement Exercise- Specialised Haemoglobinopathy Service.
Once you have registered to the project, access to the Soft Market Testing Questionnaire and supporting documentation is available from the external documents section within the portal.
Completed questionnaires will need to be uploaded through the portal's messaging facility by the closing date 14:00 hours 21st November. The responses will be reviewed and a Market Engagement WebEx is planned for further engagement on the service. All organisations that complete this questionnaire will be invited to participate on the WebEx.
The WebEx is expected to take please on the morning of Wednesday 28th November. Confirmation on the date and time including participation instructions will be forwarded to representatives of organisations that have confirmed their contact details within the completed questionnaires.
