Description of the procurement

This procurement is for the provision of a Medical Appraisal and Revalidation System to be deployed within North Bristol NHS Trust, University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust and Weston Area Health NHS Trust.
Each organisation will require a separate instance of the Medical Appraisal and Revalidation System.
The system is required to provide the following high-level functionalities:
• A portfolio for doctors to be able to upload supporting information and reflections in order prepare for their annual appraisal
• A portfolio for appraisers to be able to review all necessary information provided by their appraisees and complete appropriate appraisal outputs
• The ability for a system administrator to run a wide range of reports from the system and provide a high level of support to the systems users
• The ability for a Responsible Officer and Revalidation Lead to monitor appraisal compliance and review all necessary information within a doctor’s portfolio for the purposes of making a revalidation recommendation
The solution offered must be market ready, available ‘off the shelf’ and already proven to have been deployed at other customer sites.
This tender is not a software development opportunity.
