Short description
Greater Manchester Police is seeking to procure framework agreement for the Production and Supply of Protective Suit. The framework is to be used by the North West Regional (NWR) forces. The procurement is divided into 3 LOTS:
LOT 1 – Turnout Suits
LOT 2 – Firearms Suits
LOT 3 – Boiler Suits
The Authority intends to award the contract for each LOT to a single supplier.
NWR forces are made up of Greater Manchester Police, Cheshire Constabulary, Cumbria Constabulary, Lancashire Constabulary, Merseyside Police and North Wales Police.
The Contract duration shall be for 24 months with an option to extend for 24 months (2 x 12 months).

The suits shall be produced to meet relevant standards as specified in the tender documents and the suit shall remain fit for its intended purpose for a period not less than three years under normal Police use.
Successful Supplier(s) shall be capable of providing the NWR forces requirements as specified.
Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated only in the procurement documents
