Description:

The works are required to remodel the existing school buildings and support the expansion of the school to provide new school places for key stage 2 pupils. The works will involve demolition of part of the school building and the modular construction of a new building to provide an additional hall and library space. The works are to last for a period of 41 weeks (3 weeks mobilisation and 38 weeks construction). It is proposed to use a JCT Intermediate Building Contract with Contractor’s Design 2011 (ICD 2011). Prior to contract, the design of the works will be taken up to RIBA Stage 4.
