Following the Police Scotland accident in November 2013 the UK Civil Aviation Authority have proposeed recommendations following a Regulartory Impact Assessment. The recommendation to fit cockpit voice and flight data recording systems into aircraft needs to be implemented on the NPAS fleet and this tender is for the modification of the aircraft to embody this requirement.
