The PCC for Avon and Somerset is working with Bath and North East Somerset Council, Bristol City Council, North Somerset Council, Somerset County Council and South Gloucestershire Council to commission a “Specialist Support Service for Victims of Child Sexual Exploitation” across policing boundaries of Avon and Somerset Constabulary. The Service will complement and be part of a network of existing services for victims of crime and anti-social behaviour. The Contractor shall remain independent of statutory partners such as the Contracting Authority and Co-commissioners, though will work in close partnership and coordination them, and other partners and professionals involved in the delivery of services and support to victims of child sexual exploitation.
