Title attributed to the contract: Relationships and Connectivity Workshops (1)
Description:
The overall aim is to deliver a workshop that develops the skills and behavioural competencies of leaders to enable them to build trusting relationships, to understand how they work better with one another, and to be able to productively resolve and use conflict in a positive way, the workshops will be aimed at all leaders of NHS staff across the East Midlands. Proposals are sought from experts in the field of leadership development specifically, communication, conflict and relationship building, to work with the East Midlands Leadership Academy, to design an innovative and engaging workshop that will deliver content for a diverse audience including and beyond own organisations, along with being able to demonstrate working in complex systems /environments, whilst also developing relationships and connections with our patient and public users. Learners’ knowledge and experience of building relationships will be variable. Some may have very basic knowledge; others will have a deeper understanding however the workshop should be designed accordingly. Referring to the context and drivers outlined in section 2 of ITT Section B, the programme should reflect the current challenges and opportunities facing the NHS and the wider system. The workshop should encompass a balance of innovative learning methods to accommodate a diverse range of learning styles. Each workshop day will attract approximately 20 participants. If appropriate, the successful provider will be expected to assist with the design and delivery of the programme application process (if relevant). Up to 6 workshops will be delivered in year one at the total value of £15,000 with the possibility of an extension for years two and three at the same value. Depending on organisational demand there would be potential to deliver additional in year workshops over the duration of the contract with the agreement of the successful provider up to a total possible contract value of £90,000.
