WYP are seeking to contract with an experienced horse recovery expert to assist the Force in recovering horses found loose on the public highway. The recovered horses will need to be transported to a secure location and where possible returned to their owners, should the owner be identified.
The Force require the service provider to provide support by attending any incident within the Force area within 1 hour of the initial call from the Contact Centre. This support is to be available 365(6) days per year, 24 hours per day, and 7 days per.
