CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF MEDICAL SERVICES TO NORTH WALES POLICE AND DYFED POWYS POLICE
The contract will likely commence on 1st April 2018, with a 6 month period allowable prior to this for implementation purposes. The contract will run for an initial period of 3 years, with the option to extend for up to another 4 years in multiples of no more than 12 months.
North Wales Police will be running the tender process for North Wales Police and Dyfed Powys Police. Please note that each Force / Police and Crime Commissioner will enter into their own contract with the successful provider at the end of the tender process.

Description of the procurement

The tender will be split into the following Options/Lots - PLEASE NOTE THAT NOT ALL OPTIONS/LOTS WILL BE AWARDED;
Option 1 – Medical Services including Custody Medical Services (24/7, 365 days a year) and SARC Cover (Working Hours Only – 7pm – 7am including weekends and bank holidays)
Option 2 – SARC (Out of Hours Cover Only 7pm – 7am including weekends and bank holidays)
Option 3 – Combination of Option 1 & Option 2 (Total Medical Services)
Only those suppliers who can meet the requirements of the specification will be considered.
Please note that interested Suppliers will be able to undertake one brief visit to one of the Custody Suites and the SARC within each Force area at a given time and date – details can be found within the tender documents.
Presentations will also be undertaken during the evaluation period – dates and times will be confirmed closer to the time but these are likely to take place during March 2017.
