AnnexD

The IP will play a key role in supporting victims, working closely with Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and other partners to provide a victim-focussed approach. GMPCC is looking for a creative, outcome-focussed and flexible partner who can advocate for victims and survivors; support victims and survivors to be resilient; reduce bureaucracy; share information but protect the rights of victims; and work with Greater Manchester Public Service Reform Principles to transform outcomes and work with local community services and assets. The IP will be required to comply with the current Victims EU Directive and the Victims Code of Practice, ensuring that victims are able to access support outside of statutory agencies, if desired, whilst also providing integrated support for those who are referred into and out of the criminal justice system.
