Description of the procurement
Provision of a Marked Police Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB). The RHIB is to be purchased within this financial year, which ends on 31st March 2017. There may be a
requirement for an additional Marked Police RHIB in the period up to and
including 31 March 2019, although no guarantees are given. The RHIB must conform to the following; Towable, rigid hull inflatable vessel with trailer, with a total train weight not exceeding 3300kg overall complete on trailer with fuel and fitted equipment. Capable of carrying six [6] seated passengers. Aft helm position for two [2] crew with console and windscreen. Twin outboard engines. Vessel to have black hull with black inflatable collar.
Vessel to be fitted with navigation equipment, VHF radio, intercom, search lighting, deck lighting and blue emergency lighting. Vessel must comply with Police Boat Common Code (PBC3).
