The proposed Form of Contract is to be NEC3 Framework and NEC3 Engineering and Construction Short Contract (Option A) or NEC3 Engineering and Construction Short Sub-Contract (Option A) The Authority is seeking reputable contractors to be included on a Framework of Contractors from who project tenders can be obtained on a mini-competition basis. The project works will be across the range of the Authority’s properties and will be of removal, alterations and refurbishment nature including the following: Electrical works - to water, heating and ventilation services (use of subcontractors from other Authority framework lists) Co-ordination of Authority works and Contractors. The projects will be in the value range of £10,000 to £150,000 (excluding VAT), with the anticipated expenditure of approximately £250,000 per annum - but this is issued for information only and is not a guarantee of the actual spend. This framework is intended for an initial period of approximately 25 months– to 31-Mar-19. The contractor must have a proven track record of delivering improvements within an environment such as the Authority’s.
