The aspiration for a purpose-built SCC at Penrith has existed for a number of
years, and in parallel, the Constabulary has been reviewing its estate. The proposal is to award a Design & Build Contract for the construction of a Strategic Command Centre (SCC) incorporating other operational police accommodation and 15 bed hostel block It is envisaged the SCC will have a useable floor area of approximately 1000m² and the police operational useable floor area of 600m²
