Description:
The works consist of the construction of two new training at height facilities, this being a steel structure, galvanised and sat on a raft foundation. The works incorporate the construction of the raft foundations, the fabrication and erection of the steel work and minor services works regarding electrics and water mains. The two new structures are to be constructed at the following locations: Sutton Coldfield Community Fire Station Lichfield Road Sutton Coldfield West Midlands B74 2NT Canley Fire Station Sir Henry Parkes Road Canley Coventry CV4 7BA The training at height facility will enable WMFRA to continue to offer safe working at height and line rescue training through different techniques and assessments. This training enables personnel to carry out their roles efficiently using the safe systems of work that minimises the risk to them and provides competent rescuers for the casualties.
