Short description
It Should be noted that this opportunity is to seek suitably qualified individual
trainers only that if successful will form part of an approved list for individual call
offs.
Lancashire Constabulary supports the provision of nationally accredited courses
as an alternative to prosecution and driver education through diversionary courses
has been used widely for low level motoring offences for a number of years.
NDORS courses are aimed at improving driving skills, raising awareness of the
main causes of road traffic collisions, providing a better understanding of
appropriate speeds, improving hazard perception and defensive driving methods
and to encourage consideration for other road users in order to produce safer and
more responsible attitudes towards driving.
Lancashire Constabulary is now seeking to create a register of approved Trainers
to work alongside Lancashire Constabulary Police Staff in the delivery of
nationally accredited courses.
