ECH1321 - Norwich City Council Compliance Services Contract

Norwich City Council is seeking expressions of interest for the delivery of a compliance services contract. The contract, which is being procured with the support of Echelon, will be delivered by a single contractor, covering multiple working streams including electrical, fire mechanical and water compliance. This is expected to cover a wide range of services, including but not limited to emergency lighting testing and repairs, warden call systems servicing and repairs, fire alarm detection services servicing and repairs, refuse chute cleaning and Legionella Risk Assessments. The Contract will start in April 2026, and run for 10 years (5+5), with an approximate overall value of £2m per annum. To provide more information to potential suppliers and to gauge the views of the market, we are holding a market engagement event at Norwich City Council Chambers, from 11am to 12.30pm on Thursday 21 August.  There will be presentations from the Norwich City Council team, and Echelon will be conducting market ‘polling’ with an interactive and anonymous poll to establish and understand your opinions and views on the proposed contract.   There will also be the opportunity to meet Norwich City Council stakeholders and to speak to the team in attendance on the day for further information.   If you are interested in attending, please email sharon@echelonconsultancy.co.uk
