The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire (PCC) is seeking expressions of interest from companies able to provide D13 Enhanced First Aid Training for Firearm Officers. The Alliance is a collaboration between Cheshire Constabulary and North Wales Police Armed Response Units. The two Forces merged their retrospective armed response units in 2015, with a total of four operational ARV bases, Llandygai, St Asaph, Blacon and Winsford. The Alliance’s requirements for the training is that the supplier provides a training venue enabling the Alliance to travel within an 80-mile radius (maximum each way) of all four ARV bases. When delivering Module 5 to Police Firearms Officers, the learning must be taught in a firearms context or other relevant context pertaining to the group, and the use of role play scenarios will be integral to the learning outcome. The ITT is in the form of an Online Questionnaire, where Tenderers must complete both the Quality and Price criterions. The Contract is anticipated to be for in place for an initial two [2] year period with the option to extend for a further three [3] twelve [12] month optional extensions. Full requirements can be found in the online ITT Questionnaire and documentation provided in the Documents Folder.
