Greater Manchester Police has a requirement for the provision of new General Patrol Body Armour which must be to the Home Office Body Standard 2017 with a required protection level of HO1 / KR1 (Ballistic and Knife), with the inclusion of a MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) cover and additional enhanced protection against knife threats.
