JSC1303 - Winfrith - Marine Maintenance Works at Arish Mell

RSRL Winfrith Site in Dorset has a dual pipeline system that discharges liquid effluent in a controlled manner into Weymouth Bay at approximately 3400 metres from the shoreline. A diving contractor is required to undertake regular inspections including taking cathodic protection readings, ROV inspections, all inclusive of video surveillance (and DVD records), maintenance and subsequent repairs of the pipeline on the seabed and maintenance and repairs of the associated slipway. The diving contractor will be required to arrange storage for a spare marker buoy and inspection and maintenance of the in-service marker buoy. Provision of an offshore vessel with lifting facilities will also be required. Provision of a shore based decompression chamber will be required and in addition, self contained welfare facilities. The annual inspection and scheduled maintenance works are to be undertaken at the end of July/month of August annually. Other breakdown maintenance works may be needed over the course of the contract on an as required basis. Rough terrain dictates the use of appropriate land vehicles. The works are managed by RSRL. RSRL will only assess the pre-qualification information that is submitted in response to this notice.
