Portable Appliance Testing
The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (The Council) requires two Contractors to provide a compliant Portable Appliance Testing (PATesting) service.
The contract shall be split into two lots:
Lot 1 – Council owned buildings (also known as “Corporate” sites)
Lot 2 – Buildings belonging to organisations that sin up to the Council’s SLA
The 1st placed company in the tender evaluation will be awarded Lot 1 and the 2nd placed company will be awarded Lot 2. However, both Contractors will also act as reserve contractors and used to fulfil the absence of the other contractor in any unforeseen circumstance.
During the length of the contract, if the amount of work to be delivered in enough for The Council to have concerns regarding the capacity of one of the contractors, then The Council reserves the right to give works to the other contractor until the amount of work reduces.
The anticipated annual value of the contract is £43,000, split down as follows:
Lot 1 – £23,000
Lot 2 – £20,000
