The East Riding of Yorkshire Council are looking for providers to be appointed onto a Framework for the provision of Home Care. The framework is to meet needs of adult residents who have been assessed as requiring home care. There are three lots: Lot 1 generic home care. Lot 2 short term home care & home care for those with complex needs. Lot 3 is for care in supported living schemes. This framework is being procured under the Light Touch Regime, subject to limited regulation and will be conducted in accordance with regulations 74 to 76 PCR2015. This framework will be open for its duration to allow for new suppliers in the market to bid to be a part of the framework agreement. Framework suppliers can submit additional applications at any time to apply for new Lot(s).

Lot 1 is generic home care. A full description is included in the specification and includes a full range of tasks that would be expected to be undertaken in the provision of home care to adults.

Lot 2 is short term home care and home care for those with complex needs. Short term home care includes reablement, intermediate care and end of life care packages. Complex care needs include high level dementia needs, medication mixes that require special management, additional specialist training is essential.

Lot 3 is for the provision of care and support in independent supported living schemes. The majority of the service users will have complex care needs including learning disabilities and or autism. The schemes with associated packages will be awarded as the result of mini competitions.
