The scope of this project is to seek one or more service providers across all Lots to deliver specialist technical skilled bootcamp. The contract will commence from 13th June 2022 until March 2023 and is being led and administered by Hull training and Adult Education Hull City Council. The Service Provider(s) shall be expected to deliver high quality flexible training programmes to address the needs of adults aged 19+. Delivery is based at level 3 – 5 lasting up to 16 weeks and a minimum of 60 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) based on employer sector in demand. All learning must be instructed under the guidance of a lecturer, supervisor tutor or appropriate provider of education and training whilst on the skilled bootcamps. All projects must demonstrate extensive evidence of employer involvement in the design of their delivery of their skilled Bootcamps.

The two-week Bootcamp training programme will provide the industry recognised qualifications and skills to existing heating engineers to transition to the heat pump market.
