ESS-Housing-ITT-Windows - Replacement UPVC Windows at Le Picquerel Estate, Vale

The SOG ESS Housing are looking engage with suppliers capable of supplying and installing UPVC Doors and Windows at their Le Picquerel Estate. There are approx. 16 properties that require a verity of door and windows, details of which can be found in the attached documents. All PVCU fenestration units (i.e. windows, doors and door frames) shall be fabricated from profiles produced by a reputable manufacturer, to be approved by Housing. The manufacturer shall be registered with the British Standards Institute and/or have been assessed by the British Board of Agreement and be in possession of a certificate of Quality Assurance to BS 5750. All fenestration units shall be received by the installer fully assembled/part assembled from the approved system manufacturer, further fabricated as may be appropriate, delivered to site, installed and protected to completion of the works by the installer who shall be approved by Housing. The installer shall be deemed to be responsible for providing the following: - (i) Samples of materials or finishes components as may be required by Housing (i) Samples of materials or finished components as may be required by Housing. (ii) Manufacturer's warranties in respect of performance. (iii) Fully dimensioned drawings, sufficient to clearly indicate all fenestration units; jamb; cill and head relationships to surrounding structure; all necessary fixings and fixing points; specification and detailing of perimeter sealant. The drawings should also indicate which units are to be dispatched by the manufacturer either fully or partly factory pre-assembled. Any acceptance of the drawings by Housing shall not absolve the manufacturer, fabricator or installer from any of their responsibilities for the design or performance of any fenestration units or details.
