As part of United Utilities’ maintenance strategy of moving towards a more proactive and preventative state of maintenance the maintenance team are looking to procure five different pieces of equipment that will allow more proactive and less reactive maintenance. The maintenance team are looking to equip our field service engineers (FSEs) with reliable and portable predictive technology that will help them to diagnose premature asset failures. The main focus will be on laser alignment, thermal imaging and vibration analysis allowing each FSE to have a set of tools at their disposal.
